The Camera Hub G5 Pro is an outdoor/indoor camera with True Color Night Vision, that pushes the image quality and local recognition to the limits. Compared to the competition, it is built to extend your smart home setup using the built-in hub functionality. Also, it comes in Power over Ethernet and Wi-Fi versions for rock-solid stability and flexibility, features End-to-End encryption for maximum security, as well as an all-round smart home ecosystem support: HomeKit Secure Video, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Matter support.

Installation Method
The G5 Pro Camera supports three installation methods: flat placement, wall mounting, and ceiling mounting.
The bracket is designed to withstand a weight three times its own and pass a lateral 50N compression test, ensuring that the monitoring position does not deform after wall installation. Users can also remove the standard bracket and use a 1/4'' nut bracket purchased separately to install the product.

The G5 Pro has Matter Controller, Matter Bridge, and Thread Border Router functionalities, also acts as a mesh repeater, enhancing device’s interoperability and adapting to the latest smart home ecosystem standards. It can connect to all the Aqara Zigbee and Thread devices as well as third-party Matter devices. Therefor, you can integrate local automations, and connect them to Matter* ecosystems such as Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home etc.

Thanks to the built-in Neural Processing Unit (NPU) there are two different AI detection settings going at the same time.
Visual Detection:
The G5 can recognize faces(Face Detection), individual vehicle(Vehicle Recognition), people moving into its field of view,(Human Detection) and can distinguish if they are lingering(Lingering Detection).Animal Detection, and also Lens Obstruction Detection, and also Package Detection which can also Guard your package as well.
Sound Detection:
Not only does it see, but it also hears. It listens for babies crying, alarm sounds, barking and coughing.
This feature enables you to record key events and trigger automations even during an internet outage. These detections can activate a wide range of automations with other smart home devices, enhancing the intelligence and reliability of your smart home system.
Premium True Full Color Night Vision:
The G5 Pro Camera is Aqara's first true full-color night vision camera. Unlike traditional infrared black-and-white night vision, the G5 Pro can maintain color image output at night. Even at an illumination level of 0.01Lux, it can distinguish human shapes without activating the fill light. Compared to traditional infrared-supplemented black-and-white night vision cameras, it can restore the original color information of the scene in low-light environments, enabling the identification of features such as skin tone and clothing color, thereby providing video with higher analytical value.
The G5 boasts a new-generation True Color Night Vision recording system powered by a graphene cooled 1/1.8” sensor, providing high-definition clarity for low-light recordings.
The G5 is a massive step-up in terms of image quality: 4-megapizel 2.6K (1520p) resolution, up to a 133° field of view and the largest-ever f/1.0 aperture that can capture up to 4 times more light compared to the f/2.0 lenses, resulting in superior image clarity and higher dynamic range.
It also has a powerful built-in spotlight, you can set automations to illuminate and intimidate potential intruders.

The camera is fully compatible with HomeKit Secure Video.
G5 is our first camera that includes built-in encrypted eMMC storage, which can be backed to a local NAS, as well as the Aqara and Apple clouds. This is the first Aqara camera that supports End-to-End encryption: the clips are fully protected, and only you or your family have access to them.
Superior Dual-Band Wi-Fi Connectivity
The G5 Pro (Wi-Fi) incorporates a dual-band 2.4/5GHz Wi-Fi module for increased compatibility and reduced interference, and features the support for the WPA3 standard for maximum security. For powering, the G5 Pro (Wi-Fi) uses a 5V2A USB-C port that increases the flexibility: the user will be able to easily find a cable of desired length.
Reliable in Extremely Cold Environments
G5 has IP65 water and dust protection, and can be used both indoors and outdoors, even in case of extreme low temperatures (down to -30°C / -22°F), which allows it to protect your home during the coldest winters.
Other Features:
- Built in speaker: It has a built-in 100 dB speaker, that supports custom ringtones and can be used as a loud siren, or for 2-way communication. Supports all the advanced functionalities of Aqara Home app such as Correlated Events, Extended Time-Lapse, Privacy Masking and Anti-Theft Protection.
- Correlated Events with more Automation: all the Aqara sensors will be able to be marked on the video timeline, and you will be able to fast-forward to a particular event
- Extended Timelapse: you will be able to capture extra-long timelapse videos, that can help you to analyze the changes of your environment over time or just to fast-forward the events
- Privacy Masking: you will be able to forcibly exclude parts of the frame from the video recording for better privacy
- Anti-Theft Protection: You will be notified in case someone tries to bind your camera to another account, and access to it will be automatically restricted.
- Limitation: the cameras will still be able to be added to Apple Home even if they are stolen
